William E. Lakey, 15483 Dunn Drive, Traverse City, MI 49681, died May 25, 2010 at his home.  Born July 15, 1925 in Muskegon, MI, Brother Lakey was an Associate member of Robert Finch Camp No. 14 in Traverse City.  Burial was at Oakwood Cemetery in Muskegon.

Brother Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Muriel Kooistra. He is survived by his wife, Pat, four children, four stepsons, four grandchildren and one step grandson.

A math professor at Central Michigan University, he was also a dedicated Boy Scout leader, traveler and avid fan for the teams of his alma mater, the University of Michigan.
