The hall is listed as an Eaton County Historical Site, included in the state of Michigan’s Register of Historical Sites, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is the only GAR hall in Michigan that has remained in continuous service by the GAR and/or one or more of its Allied Orders (Woman’s Relief Corps, Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Sons of Veterans USA, and Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War) since it was built.
